Distances and challenges

Our conference brought together people from across the province who deal with diverse challenges in their day to day activities – including reaching across large geographical distances, varying work environments and the ever-changing and challenging landscape of farming in Ontario.   Paul picked up on those themes immediately and was able to connect our experiences to the power of drumming and music. 

I was heartened to see how quickly all of us fell into the same rhythm, and could grow and adapt it together.  I believe that this is a good analogy of how we work together now and how we can continue working together in the future.

Master the Rhythm of Growth

The theme of our conference was "Master the Rhythm of Growth". Our Market and Product Development team spent two days learning, planning and strategizing for the future. "Boom" was the glue and "pause" in our planning that bonded attendees.

The experience involved all in drumming, self expression, listening and performing together. Paul Houle and his team did a great job of leading us through exercises.

We felt the power of one person's expression as well as the collective voice. We discovered synergies in rhythm. Small changes in our own performance influenced the performance of others.

The response to "Boom" was overwhelmingly positive. Our teams came back from the Conference re-energized and eager to tackle the challenges that lay ahead.
