Just had the pleasure last week of being a part of the idea city conference put on by Moses Znaimer. My first time there. It was a colourful mix of artists, writers, scientists and as Moses would say “revolutionaries”. I had the great pleasure of performing with the one and only Glass Orchestra, an ensemble that has been in existence for 33 years. When I wasn’t performing, I was able to hear some incredible individuals. Very inspiring! This year the majority of speakers were women. ( Moses had hope to have them all be women, but that did not work out). If you are looking for some impressive role models, I suggest you have a look at the roster and read about some of their accomplishments. Some I am sure you will know about, but there are many not so well know people who are involved in some awe-inspiring work in their field.  Click here to read about them.
